Law of Attraction : The SECRET
This is a very radical subject but fast gaining popularity worldwide which I would like to share with you. Law of Attraction or LOA is just similar to the concept of the Law of Gravity, it is there for us to feel to accept.
(Sourced from Wikipedia:) The phrase Law of Attraction, used widely by New Thought writers, refers to the idea that thoughts influence chance. The Law of Attraction argues that thoughts (both conscious and unconscious) can affect things outside the head, not just through motivation, but by other means. Essentially, "if you really want something and truly believe it's possible, you'll get it", but putting a lot of attention and thought onto something you don't want means you'll probably get that too.
Widespread popular interest in the Law of Attraction reached its peak after the release of the The Secret, a 2006 film by Australian television writer and producer Rhonda Byrne. Byrne followed up the film with a bestselling book of the same title and appeared on a series of talk shows in 2007.

Life is beautiful
Life is beautiful..... It is all in our mind that playing tricks on us; whether we feel pissed, sad, happy, moody, overjoy, frustrated, on-cloud-nine, lost, confused, devastated, contended, .... as it all depends on how we react to a situation/incidence!
Beware and assess the situation diligently before our emotion gets better of us and causing us hurt, making wrong judgment and creating unnecessary negative impact to our lives. And these are bad for health too!
LIFE is beautiful beyond what we are doing regardless of whether we are studying, in relationship or working.
Go and see beyond what we are doing and you can SMELL it. It is as fresh as roses under the morning sun. Whatever current setbacks we are facing needed to be managed quickly and move on. These are essential part of our lives to make us stronger and our lives fuller to go forward.
Remember SUN always rises the next day and Summers will always comes after long cold Winters.... We need to take charge of our lives now!
Count all the positives of our lives, feel good about them and move on... the fact that we can still breath today is already a big positive in our LIFE!
Hang in there....!

Destiny or Choices?
Life is about making choices.....
We have all the rights to choose our destiny, we are always on the driving seat of our lives, and we are always in control of our lives until we surrender these rights to others willingly...
Make a choice and move on.... If it does not work, make another choice, .... another one, another one and another one until we succeed.
So, it is as simple as that ... we need to live our own lives and take control our own destiny and be responsible for our own decision!

RIP - Teoh Beng Hock
It is rather pathetic that all politicians from both sides are cannibalizing or politicizing on this opportunity to hit each other and worst still MACC is hiding from this unfortunate incident behind some Acts claiming that they cannot be held responsible for the loss of a young Malaysian life even before the inquest started. Shame on you MACC, and this would be definitely a huge impact on the integrity and credibility of MACC for sure!
People, have we not forgotten about the loss of a precious human life of a young energetic Malaysian who actually believe in himself rightly or wrongly?
This has nothing to do with political alliance or belief, race, or religion, but a loss of a young Malaysian!
In the lights of the PM to call for One-Malaysia, can we not give the truth not only to his fiancee and his family but to the people of Malaysia of all races with different religion background?
Until we have really "grown" up, YAB, I am afraid that we would never achieve your vision during your time as PM or even our life time!
Please give justice to Teoh Beng Hong's fiancee and family, and most importantly to the people of Malaysian of all races and religion! Please help to install faith in government establishment asap for Malaysian to make a giant step forward...
One Malaysia? Not for now or for a while if we are lucky ....

"Heal The World" - MJ's Message
Heal The World lyrics
little girl talking ((i think about the generations and thay say thay want to make it a better place for our children & our children's children so that thay thay thay know it's a better world for them and i think thay can make it a better place))
There's A Place In
Your Heart
And I Know That It Is Love
And This Place Could
Be Much
Brighter Than Tomorrow
And If You Really Try
You'll Find There's No Need
To Cry
In This Place You'll Feel
There's No Hurt Or Sorrow
There Are Ways
To Get There
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Little Space
Make A Better Place...
Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me
If You Want To Know Why
There's A Love That
Cannot Lie
Love Is Strong
It Only Cares For
Joyful Giving
If We Try
We Shall See
In This Bliss
We Cannot Feel
Fear Or Dread
We Stop Existing And
Start Living
Then It Feels That Always
Love's Enough For
Us Growing
So Make A Better World
Make A Better World...
Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Dream We Were
Conceived In
Will Reveal A Joyful Face
And The World We
Once Believed In
Will Shine Again In Grace
Then Why Do We Keep
Strangling Life
Wound This Earth
Crucify Its Soul
Though It's Plain To See
This World Is Heavenly
Be God's Glow
We Could Fly So High
Let Our Spirits Never Die
In My Heart
I Feel You Are All
My Brothers
Create A World With
No Fear
Together We'll Cry
Happy Tears
See The Nations Turn
Their Swords
Into Plowshares
We Could Really Get There
If You Cared Enough
For The Living
Make A Little Space
To Make A Better Place...
Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me
Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me
Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
Make A Better Place
You And For Me
Make A Better Place
You And For Me
Make A Better Place
You And For Me
heal the wordl we live in
You And For Me

Pushing the Envelop
Setting one's expectation in LIFE is important but how far is far enough for one to go in our life journey.....? Are we stopping at the point of acquiring great wealth, achieving success in one career, or at 55years old (retiring age of most Asian)? May be, how do we know whether we could even make it to the magical milestone.... may be one would drop OUT by the road side of the journey ... dead !
It is irony that if we do not push hard in life or push the envelop, we might not achieve anything at all (loser?)..... the question is, how far is enough and at what price....?
Imagine that when we were younger, we did not even think about this as most of us if not all thought we could go on and on and eventually we would be able to grab our life goals without questioning until one day we found ourselves collapsed to our office chair and grasping for air with heart pumping at a speed of more than 100 beat per minute ... and thinking: "Is that it? I did not even have time to get a last will done?"
MJ has achieved so much and yet he had pushed himself so hard that he collapsed in the presence of his own personal physician ..... he had fame and fortune which all of us could only dream of in our life but we all know now that his life journey ended so early at the tender age of just 50s!
Do we slow down now at this point of time and take life easy? If not now, when? I am not sure anybody out there has the answer for this....?
Corporate life is getting tougher each day with thinner resources but workload is not getting lesser! Anyone is expected to double up or even treble up with 21st century career. Can we all take these health threatening challenges especially those senior executives who are not getting younger each day.....?
There is no easy solution, we should pace ourselves and deliver the minimum expected of us everyday and that's it as life is so precious and short! The next thing you know that you ARE already reaching the magical number of 55's and the health alarm bell might sound soon! We need to get a LIFE and get a LIFE soon?
Pushing the envelop to achieve higher success in career or acquiring more wealth might not be the answer... go and get a life and do our best daily to keep our lives going!

"Ah Long" and Banners
It is interesting to read recently about MPs, politicians, community leaders and even mayors sharing their creative ideas on how to remove those unsightly "Ah Long" or loan shark banners, poster, banners or buntings found on our street lampposts.
The question is why took them so long to realize the menace of Ah Long to ordinary folks and that now suddenly they have to do something about it including those banners .....
Malaysia is blessed with governing and administrative systems which we have inherited from western country and we are proud also to have refined them to suit the needs and the benefits of the ordinary folks. With this in place, by right we should be able to have a beautiful townships with neat and tidy lampposts.... and rid of the opportunities for Ah Long to advertise their services..... then where did we go drastically wrong?
Enforcement, enforcement and enforcement or to be exact lacking the discipline and will of effective enforcement by local authorities or town/municipal councils!
What have they been doing all these years with the public funds and still ineffective in their works!
It is so clear cut that when you travel from one township to another (MPKj to MPSJ for example), there are drastic differences in appearance of the townships due to ineffective enforcement control over what could be put up and what could not be put up thru the advertising control permits of the local authorities.
If and if they are doing their jobs effectively and issue permits properly to the rightful & deserved advertisers, would we have any issues at all on these Ah Long's menace?
Why bother to come up with creative ideas on how to get rid all these posters/banners of Ah Long if we start have a grip of the application for adverting permits and have a strong and effective enforcement control...
Brothers & sisters at the town/municipal councils, please wake up quickly as we are in 21st century now and we all have to do our part professionally to earn our keeps!
Please start doing something about this Ah Long's menace before it gets out of hand with another poor folks got chained up and treated like an animal again ....
Rakyat is the boss and not those at town or municipal counsels!
We would vote you OUT as MPs/State Assemblymen next time round if you do not deliver AGAIN!

Traffic Congestion - Open Letter to KL Mayor
Dear Mr.Mayor,
As you are aware of the current horrendous condition of KL traffic especially during peak hours (it is normal to take about 60 minutes just to travel 10 km within KL to go home after work!!!), and it is getting worse by days lately.
We also understand that this requires a long term solution to resolve for good. Building more roads or more widening would be nice but this takes time, money and also causing more traffic congestion during construction.
It is an irony that most often than not, by the time the construction completed, the traffic volume has changed so much so that new road widening probably required as the project keeps dragging on with extension after extension of time without getting the contractor to pay penalty as preventive measure/deterrent.
The good news is there are still some rooms for us to improve on the current conditions at least for now without spending a King's ransom with instant results but need discipline from all parties concerned:
1). Ensure effective enforcement for no double or even treble parking especially along busy streets/road e.g. Jalan Binjai KL between 6pm to 8pm
2). Stop extending the deadlines for all road improvements works e.g. Jalan Cheras near Phoenix Plaza & 3rd mile Cheras roundabout near Velodrome - projects could have been completed long time ago and the obviously there is no urgency shown currently i.e. no night works and no works during weekend or public holidays? Can you image those Cheras folks have to go thru that crawl daily unnecessarily?
3). Effective programming of traffic lights timing for variation during weekday and weekends, morning and night (peak and non-peak). The timing programming for traffic lights at critical junctions could be easily refined and conducted every quarterly to make traffic control more effective during different time of the day or during weekday and weekends.
4). Do not issue permits for construction during peak hours (morning and evening peak) e.g. construction in front of US Embassy. No works allowed during those peak periods.
5). Enforcement on off-the-road policy during peak hours for heavy vehicles such as tractors, bulldozers, trucks, and big lorries as they are holding back traffic (before 7 am and after 7 pm during weekdays)
6). Implement new rules with effective enforcement for motorcycles to use only leftest lane instead of encouraging zig-zag riding behaviour which might also cause serious accident and massive traffic jams
7). Do not issue permits for (or ban) all road closure within city centre for any non-national or State typed events especially for private enterprises
8). Enforcement of illegal parking by buses and coaches along main streets and create special parking area for them after their normal operating hours (stadium parking area say after 10pm or their events) e.g. Illegal parking by outstation coaches along Jalan Davidson
These suggestion might require helps from other government agencies (Police, Transport & Works ministries, CLVB/Licensing boards ...etc) to implement but please do take the lead as we KLites are going thru hells daily (please check out Jalan Tun Razak after office hours!). It would help much more if you could take a ride on DBKL helicopter during peak hours to reconfirm the sources of the problems and to identify the bottlenecks. This would give you an immediate bird's eye view of the whole traffic condition during peak hours.
Mr. Mayor, please do something fast and something effective to resolve our daily agony and traffic chaos!
Thank you!

Life Is About Making Choices!
Socrates (469-399BC)
"I tell you that to let no day pass without discussing goodness and all the other subjects about which you hear me talking and examining both myself and others is really the very best thing that a man can do, and that life without this sort of examination is not worth living" (Apology 38a)
Life is also about making choices... which way you want to go?
God is fair, we are all gifted and have all the rights to choose. The question for each one of us is which life path is the right route for us? And there is not just one or right path, each one of us have our own preferences... we have the right to choose!
Making decision is the best things can happen to us in our life journey. There are no "rights" or "wrongs", just follow your conscience and make the right decision for yourself which is relevant at the point of time as long as it does NOT hurt anybody including ourselves. Thereafter, don't look back and keep moving forward and manage it even if the decision made was not the best at all time! If needed, to examine where we went wrong, fix it and move forward! Most often than not, it turns out to be some great decisions made of our lives!
Our perspective changes when we move forward with time, so decision might or might not be relevant at different points of time or when we grow older!
Making BAD decision is BETTER than making none and keep procrastinating..... In the extreme, if no decision could be made, then leave it with "do nothing" as the "decision"! Enjoy........! Life is beautiful!

A(H1N1) - Food For Thoughts
We were all shocked yesterday but not surprised over the news that this Flu strain finally reaches our shore due to the movement of people of this globalized world!
Based on the details from the newspapers, the patient arrived on Wednesday morning assuming he went thru the health screening for fever at the airport twice, he then went home and only hospitalized on Thursday and the announcement to public came in on Friday.
The whole journey lasted at least for more than 48 hours since he touched down in KLIA before our authority made such announcement to the public. Is it not too slow? What wrong if we make this announcement on Wednesday that there is a patient admitted to a hospital and suspected to have A(H1N1) flu-like syndrome but subject to further testing? We have exposed those people who are at the hospital to say the least on Wednesday by the late announcement!
He could have met, to say the least, or infected lots of people i.e. co-passenger, immigration officer, duty free shop/cafe assistant, taxi drivers, his family, friends, hospital staff/visitors, ....etc whom he came to contact with. Is it not this sounds alarming!
Are the measures put in place at the airport adequate to protect the people? Did the officers in charged of this health screening at KLIA or even at the point of departure at Newark NY conducted their duties diligently?
Have we, the authorities or W.H.O. done enough? Even people should think before traveling during this period if they do not feel comfortable or have flu like syndrome... are they ignorant, naive, or just stupidity? Was it that the flu did not manifest during the said journey back home from NY?
I do not have an answer for this.......

If you put your heart to it and work hard enough.....
Whenever we try our best and the best is still not good enough, what shall we do ...?
Looking back in my life, I have many of such situations and things just did not work out at all but thankfully I did not give up but keep trying, working harder, and putting my heart to it (as I did not have a choice... LOL), I was amazed many times over that the final results as it turned out to be much much better than I could ever hope for... and I was happy!
It is true and scientifically proven to be possible due to the inner mental strength of each of us which we did not even know about. It was reported clinically that normal human beings limit oursleves to only about 15% of our capabilities and mental strength .... yes, we could still push further and you would be amazed with what we could achieve!
Give it a try and you would be amazed with how powerful your inner mental strength is and you will love the final results and be happy!

Life is alway beautiful beyond what we are doing?
When we are under tremendous pressure and stressed out, it is always good to take a breather by doing something differently even by walking around a different shopping mall/pasar malam to get some fresh air!
Life is more than just work (or studying for that matter!), we work because we need to maintain our family and to have a life. We do not live to work but work to live!
Life is how we want it to be instead of what life wants us to be. We take control of our life and not vice versa... If things are not working out right, there is something wrong. Either we change the situation or we change ourselves to adapt to the environment. Do not be afraid of change, it is always not pleasant initially as we are out of comfort zone beyond which, it opens up with lots of other new opportunities and possibilities!
Life is always great beyond what we are doing now... you can literally SMELL the freshness of it!
Give it a try and you would get a different perspective of things by taking a break or slow down your speed during daily life to see what LIFE is really about! Have fun!!

Life is About How Well We Manage Disappointments
Life is a journey and not a destination ...
Life is not about celebration of success as success is no brainer and not challenging.
Life is about how well we manage our disappointments to rebound, recover and refresh to move on to scale further heights.
Every single disappointment brings us valuable lessons and make us stronger each time, and position us to take up further challenges ahead of us.
Take each disappointment as a blessing and makes us more resilient to the next ones to come ..... until we reach our final destination.
Cheer up. It can only be better tomorrow!

Murphy's Law or Law of Universe
Nothing is alone or comes single ... that includes the Global Economy Meltdown! Swine Flu Pandemic might be joining in to make things worst!?
Life is interesting... I am sure most of us encountered sometimes in our lives, there are times when you tried everything possible and work your guts out, things would NOT get any better. However when things start to turn, everything is just right and rosy even those you had never asked for or without lifting a finger... interesting. Welcome to the real world.........
Call it Murphy's Law, Law of Universe or whatever you'd like, there is nothing much one can do to change this law of nature, give your best, work as hard as possible, start praying and hope for the best. If our best is still not good enough, hard luck, try again, again & again!
"When the going get tough, the tough get going", that's how the song goes, and how true that is!
Things are not as rosy currently for most of us, but we can be sure that there is always a Spring after long cold Winter, and Sun never fails to rise the next morning after darkness. We need to accept and face one disappointment after another and manage them well..... MORNING always awaits us the very next day!
Hang in there.....!

System Breakdown - Traffic Summon
I was a bit naughty last year beating a traffic light and caught on a traffic camera. That was way back in August last year. After that, I was praying that the camera was a dummy and no traffic summon would be issued to me at all.
As times passed, my hope grew till last week after 9 months, I was surprised that the summon dated August '08 finally delivered thru courier together with another offer notice for compound with deadline in November '08 (in ONE envelope ). This is interesting...... How does the system really work???
The summon was only received 9 months later and the authority expected the offender to pay up at the end of November 08 without sending the notice at all until April '09.
Luckily for me, the compound offer was still valid even it has lapsed in November '08 as it was accepted by the payment counter at the traffic dept without a single question asked (believe this is "normal"), and I was pleased that the authority did not ask me to be present at the court for ignoring the summon.
The question is why do we need to have a system when the enforcement does not even follow it themselves to ensure that the system created is to be effective.
How can the enforcer expect the public to follow rules when they themselves are not following rules of their own creation. Do we not feel embarrassed about this? We have to know where we go wrong before we can fix it!!! We need the authority to wake up and wake up fast.
We are already in 21st century with our new PM calling for change and efficient delivery system. Let's support YAB so that our country can really move forward and makes Wawasan 2020 a reality and Malaysia, a fully developed country.
Let's erase this unwelcome theme for good : "1st class infrastructure but 3rd class mentality"!!!
Malaysia Boleh and not Malaysia Apa Pun Boleh!

Clown World?
CLOWN brings happiness not only to children but also adult alike.
However clowning around in office serves different purposes and some of us needed to be UNREAL in order to survive in corporate stage not for the good of the company but for their own basic survival and politically CORRECT, and to be a "team player".
Senior executives who have been empowered to lead any company should respect all opinion and inputs, and give due respect to all their supporting staff instead of abusing their power and expect all to bow to them all the time even if they are in the wrong due to pride.
There is NO good medicine that taste good... only bitter medicine is good for us.
Ancient emperors suffered the same fade and lost their empire literally for ignoring the same truth.
Guys, it is time to wake up now especially during the current economic turmoil for the sake of everybody and the company!

United Nation at Work
United Nation at Work (left) - Lost or act like puppets?
Invasion of Gaza by Israel is totally unacceptable regardless of any valid reasons as so many innocent lives have been lost and yet UN is doing nothing to stop the war.
Like Lorikeet chatty birds (above), our UN is only good at having meetings after meetings without any speedy concrete resolution or taking serious action as start trade embargoes against Israel or to ban other countries to supply weapons to Israel. Why are they not taking military action to stop Israel from escalating the wars and killing further?
Let Israel and HAMAS set up another battle ground somewhere else (another planets?) without involving any innocent people getting caught in between during cross fire between basically two conflicting political factions.
People, let's move on and forget the past, and go beyond the ideology of your politicians by finding a resolution for good, for the people of Palestine and Israel. We need to think outside the box, more so now!
It would not resolve anything by sending missiles from one country to another, and the other country would retaliate by doing the same. The only victims are the innocent people and not the politicians who claim that they are so noble and have to protect their people's lives. The only beneficiary of wars are weapons suppliers, those who manufacture missiles, bullets, tanks, fighter jets, bombs, anti-missiles, ...etc, and those possibly with bigger hidden agenda (crude oil?).
We should protect all precious human lives and not just our own people's. We are still behaving likes kids.... We are all civilized and in 21st century, please treasure all human lives regardless of religion, culture and race!
If we can set up WWF for the animal, why can we not do the same by setting up WHF (World Human Fund) to promote world peace and protect human lives?
Chatty birdies, can you stop making all noises and take some serious actions???
